For Black women, wellness is the freedom to live with health, wholeness, peace, purpose, and dignity.
It means caring for every part of ourselves—physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, socially, financially, and intellectually—while navigating the unique experiences, responsibilities, and transitions that shape our lives.
Yet too often, Black women are expected to carry more, give more, endure more, and ask for less.
We are caregivers, professionals, mothers, daughters, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, advocates, and community builders.
We pour into others while quietly placing ourselves last.
HerWellnessNook was created because Black women deserve more than survival.
We deserve to flourish.
At HerWellnessNook, we fulfill our mission in three ways.
We provide evidence-informed women’s health education that equips Black women with knowledge, practical tools, and confidence to make informed decisions throughout every season of life.
Through workshops, wellness series, community conversations, speaking engagements, and educational resources, we transform information into understanding.
Life transitions can leave us feeling uncertain.
Through faith-centered guided experiences, personalized support, and compassionate conversations, we help women navigate change with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Healing is strengthened in community.
Through The Women In My Garden, guided journaling, wellness events, and shared experiences, we create spaces where Black women can connect, grow, and become the women they were created to be.
Whether you’re seeking knowledge, guidance, or community, HerWellnessNook is committed to walking alongside you through every season of life.
Because Black women deserve more than information.
They deserve understanding.
They deserve support.
They deserve community.
Most importantly—
They deserve to flourish.
